An online Master of Arts in Global Leadership (M.A. in Global Leadership) degree program is designed to prepare both clergy and lay leaders for leadership challenges in a cross-cultural context. Much of the coursework is completed online, although some programs require some in-person or on-campus meetings with faculty and other students. These programs are for both new and aspiring ministers, as well as people already in active ministry.
Some seminaries that offer an accredited M.A. in Global Leadership online allow students to choose a an area of concentration, such as Spiritual Formation, Disaster Management, or Pastoral Counseling. Coursework requirements vary between programs, but may include classes with a focus on missions, cultural studies, Christian education, or organizational development.
